Cast your ballot for OACAC officers
February 2, 2009
Please check your mail for your official OACAC ballot.
On behalf of the Nominations and Awards Committee, I would like to present you with the slate of officers for the 2009 OACAC elections. The positions of president-elect and secretary will be selected in this election. As a member of OACAC, you have the privilege of casting your vote for these very important positions in our association.
In addition, those of you who are also NACAC members are eligible to vote for the Ohio delegates to the NACAC Assembly. This year we will be electing a delegate who represents a public college or university as well as two delegates who represent high schools. If you did not receive this ballot and feel you qualify as a NACAC member, please contact Lavona See, OACAC Administrative Services at execasst@oacac.org. In accordance with both the NACAC and OACAC bylaws, only NACAC members are entitled to vote for Assembly delegates. The January 2009 roster of NACAC members was used to determine eligibility for the delegate ballot.
Information about our candidates is available by selecting the link “Candidates for OACAC Office.”
Nominations are also being sought for the New Member Award, M. Jeanne Talley Human Relations Award, Life Member Award and the Jack Scott Award. These are presented annually at our Spring Conference, and recognize individuals for their service to OACAC. Please review the information on each of these awards at www.oacac.org and consider nominating one of your colleagues.
Your votes and award nominations are very important to the future of OACAC.
All election ballots must be returned by mail no later than March 14, 2009. BALLOTS MUST BE RECEIVED VIA US MAIL TO BE COUNTED.
Award nominations are due by March 14, 2009 and may be submitted by mail, fax, or e-mail. Again, we look forward to reading your nominations of your outstanding colleagues!
Thanks to those members who have volunteered to serve as nominees for office. We appreciate their willingness to serve OACAC.
