The Ohio Associate for College Admission Counseling (OACAC) is proud to host this year’s Summer Institute at Ohio Wesleyan University from 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 29th to 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 31st. This three-day intensive mentor-based institute brings together new admissions counselors with two years or less of experience together to create a deeper understanding of the interaction between admissions counselors and high school counselors, as well as expert insight into current trends and issues within the profession.
Through small mentor group discussions, workshops, and presentations, participants will learn: overarching job responsibilities, best practices, recruitment/travel, standardized testing, and advancing through the profession, amongst many other topics. We are certain that the unique combination of a vibrant curriculum and diverse group of participants, committee members, and mentors will offer you a refreshing and rewarding experience.
