College Fair Calendar

Ohio Association for College Admission Counseling is pleased to announce that we have expanded our partnership with StriveScan to bring their registration platform and barcode scanning to all OACAC-Sponsored and Approved fairs. StriveScan will enhance the experience for representatives and students by making information exchange more efficient and productive, while also providing valuable data to fair hosts, school counselors, and our organization. StriveScan partners with many organizations, including all NACAC affiliates, 12 AACRAO affiliates, the Colleges That Change Lives, Council of International Schools, and more. Over 2,500 colleges have used StriveScan at thousands of fairs across the country and the world.

Fair Hosts:

We are excited to provide students and fair hosts across Ohio with a consistent experience at OACAC-Sponsored and Approved fairs. StriveScan will power Institution Registration for all OACAC-Sponsored and Approved fairs. Hosts will have access to a Dashboard, allowing them to track student and institution registrations, attendance, and many other data points. Hosts will have access to a live registration list, which will update in real time as organizations register. StriveScan will process all credit card payments for OACAC-Sponsored and Approved Fair Hosts.

Be on the lookout for training opportunities throughout the summer and fall, to ensure all hosts are comfortable with their new tools.​​
Institutions:
Institutions will now register for all OACAC-Sponsored and Approved Fairs through their StriveScan account. We’ll share more information on this process in the coming months. Scanning for all OACAC-Sponsored and Approved fairs will be included with registration.

Representatives will use the StriveScan app to scan students' barcodes. Representatives can instantly view the student's information and take notes right in the app. After the fair, representatives export student data instantly to a CSV file or automatically upload it directly to their CRM.

We anticipate that the 2026-2027 OACAC College Fair Calendar will be available later this summer. The following weeks will be earmarked for each region.

Northeast Ohio: September 28th – October 9th

Northwest Ohio: October 12th – October 16th

Central Ohio: September 21st – October 9th

Southwest Ohio: September 27th – October 2nd & October 12th – 16th

Southeast Ohio: October 12th – October 23rd

Student Registration:
Students will register for OACAC-Sponsored and Approved fairs at StriveFair.com. Upon registration, StriveScan sends them a barcode via text and email, which students show to representatives at the fair. Registering for a barcode allows students to quickly connect with institutions during, and even after, the event. There is no cost for students to register for a barcode.

Counselors are asked to ensure that all students register at StriveFair.com before attending an OACAC-Sponsored and Approved fair. StriveScan’s Fair Tool Kit has materials to support the registration process, including guidance on navigating cell phone bans and bulk student registration.

Thank you for your support of OACAC approved college fairs. OACAC encourages you to attend these programs!

Individual members of OACAC have exclusive access to the college fair calendar. The fairs selected for the calendar have been reviewed by the OACAC college fair committee and meet the OACAC recommended guidelines. You will find the date, location, time and contact person for each fair. Membership in OACAC does not guarantee an automatic listing on the college fair calendar.

It is up to each individual college fair coordinator to manage their invitation list and determine how many schools/organizations can attend their program. Membership in OACAC does not automatically guarantee an invitation to every program listed on the college fair calendar. If you are interested in an invitation to one of the listed college fairs, please contact the coordinator directly.

Colleges who participate in OACAC approved college fairs must agree to adhere to the OACAC college fair guidelines. Organizers of OACAC approved college fairs must agree to adhere to the guidelines and are responsible for monitoring colleges in attendance to make sure they are in compliance with the OACAC guidelines.​
