About the Role

The WVU Enrollment Management Division at West Virginia University is currently accepting applications for a Regional Recruiter. This is a remote role that requires travel in Michigan, Ohio, and Western New York. Candidates are required to live within or relocate to the territory. The Regional Recruiter plans and implements a student recruitment program designed to meet enrollment goals and conducts activities while functioning as part of the larger recruitment team. Regional Recruiters serve as liaisons for numerous constituents, including guidance and career counselors, educators, administrators, prospective students and families, regional colleagues, community-based organizations, professional organizations, alumni, and campus-based partners. Preference is given to those living within or relocating to the preferred areas of Akron, Cleveland, or Toledo.


Location

Position is remote; candidates must reside in Ohio, Michigan or Western New York with preference given to candidates located in the areas of Akron, Cleveland, or Toledo.

Requirements

  • Master's degree plus a minimum of two (2) years of related experience.

  • Bachelor's degree will be considered if a candidate has a minimum of four (4) years of related experience.

  • Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered

  • All qualifications must be met by the time of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree

  • Experience in higher education, recruitment, marketing, public relations, counseling or sales.
